New Ultrasonic Pipe Inspection Gantry System
Our newest system is a version of our successful Truss Gantry. This version replaces the truss with a large beam to reduce cost. The system is capable of spanning a 70 foot long pipe and uses one or two carts.
New ERW Weldline Head
Innovative Test Systems Has developed a new weldline head designed to be place right at the welder. It features water cooled guide rollers that are also thermally isolated from the rest of the head. A ball screw with position feedback sets the height automatically for different pipe diameters and an air cylinder raises and lowers the head for cutouts or weld seams. There are different holders available for both standard and involute transducers
COATING INSPECTION SYSTEM
Innovative Test Systems is currently building a semi-automatic coating inspection system. It uses a 360-degree Holiday wiper assembly carried by an overhead gantry. The operator places the wiper on the end of the pipe and then the carriage carries the wiper down the length of the pipe. Individual pop-up supports (not shown above) retract as the wiper approaches and extend after if passes.
